Tekom Agro Group has cleared wheat crops of rapeseed smut.

Specialists from the agronomic service of "Agro Firm "Pivdennaya," which is part of the Tekom Agro Group, have carried out herbicide protection for winter soft wheat, specifically against rapeseed volunteer plants. The company emphasizes: timely clearing of crops from competition for living space, light, moisture, and nutrients is one of the key conditions for the formation of stable yields of quality grain. "Volunteer plants and weeds in winter cereal crops can appear simultaneously with the emergence of seedlings. Therefore, we have worked out our algorithm for herbicide protection of winter wheat in the autumn, especially when rapeseed or sunflower, which germinate as volunteer plants, act as a predecessor. For example, rapeseed volunteer plants develop quite quickly, begin to actively vegetate and, accordingly, absorb nutrients and water, which are necessary for wheat during this period.
