Telefónica has designed and deployed a pilot project for technological modernization at the industrial plant of Grupo Gallo, known for Pastas Gallo, in El Carpio (Córdoba), with the objective of evolving its internal logistics through a scalable digital architecture, enabled for the use of AI and prepared for the challenges of Industry 4.0. This was detailed by the company chaired by Marc Murtra in a statement, which informs that the project has focused "on the comprehensive update of the internal and end-of-line management systems of the plant". Telefónica Tech, through its company Geprom, has incorporated into the Grupo Gallo plant seven more flexible and efficient automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and has implemented a new fleet management platform based on Siemens technology that allows centralized, flexible, and multi-brand management of these vehicles.
