Alcohol Prices Decline 1.7% Year-on-Year in June
On July 9, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in June, the national consumer price index rose 0.1% year-on-year and fell 0.1% month-on-month. Among this, alcohol prices declined 1.7% year-on-year and fell 0.3% month-on-month; from January to June, alcohol prices declined 2.0% year-on-year.

On July 7, Chen Qingsong, Vice Secretary and Mayor of Renhuai City, visited Luban Street and Canglong Street to investigate the production and operations of alcohol packaging and express logistics enterprises, conduct concentrated rectification of unhealthy practices and corruption, and other work. Chen emphasized that alcohol packaging enterprises must implement main responsibilities and establish a foundation of quality and integrity. Relevant departments should improve quality control systems, strengthen packaging market supervision, and enhance legal training for practitioners; they should effectively use the "Renhuai Sauce-Fragrance Liquor" national geographical indication trademark, strengthen trademark management, and build a regionally recognized brand.
