Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Capt. Thammanat Phromphao, visited the Pak Chong Land Reform Area (NTC) Limited in Nakhon Ratchasima province to address farmers and provide permission for 95 farmers to use the land reform area, Sor Por Kor. 4-01. He also clarified the government's policy under Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, explaining that the land was returned from capitalists who had illegally owned it to the government and is being distributed to the homeless Thai people. Thammanat also announced plans to seize 7-8 thousand rai of orange orchards in Chiang Mai to be used for agriculture, with farmers and capitalists to share ownership and farming profits. Farmers who receive permission to use the land reform area are requested to pledge that they will not use the documents for bank transactions and that they will value them highly.
