The 5th Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Women Farmers' Day concluded.

The 5th Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Women Farmers' Day commemorative event was held on the 14th at Hoengseong Welly Hilly Park. The event, themed "Together in the Countryside! Shining Women!", was hosted and organized by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Women Farmers' Policy Council (President Ahn Jeong-mi), and was attended by approximately 630 people including Governor Kim Jin-tae, members of six women farmers' organizations in the province, and other officials. The event included the awarding of prizes to outstanding women farmers, the presentation of letters of appreciation, emergency rural care and fire safety prevention education, and a Women Farmers' Unity Festival to encourage each other's efforts and strengthen unity and pride among women farmers.
