Belarus has caught nearly 40 thousand tons of Far Eastern pollock this year, as it was allocated a quota through an intergovernmental agreement with Russia. The Primorsky Territorial Administration of Rosrybolovstvo issued four permits to Belarus to fish 50 thousand tons of pollock in the Sea of Okhotsk and Bering Sea. The utilization of the allocated quota is currently at 73.4%, contributing to the development of cooperation and food security between the two countries.
