The budget for the Common Agricultural Policy after 2027 must ensure food security. It needs to be separate, firmly fixed in sufficient amounts, and meet the heightened challenges facing agriculture. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lozana Vasileva at the meeting of the European Union Council on Agriculture and Fisheries, held in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, informed the press office of the Ministry of Agriculture. She added that including the CAP in a single fund does not meet the needs of the member states. Concentrating all policies in a single program framework carries the risk of re-nationalizing the CAP and increasing inequalities among farmers in the EU.
