The Bulgarian Agrarian Chamber is convening an extraordinary General Assembly on November 13. After disagreements in the leadership, the BAC will once again have a single president.

After last week, the president of the National Branch Chamber "Fruits and Vegetables" Tsvetan Tsekov announced that his organization is leaving the Bulgarian Agrarian Chamber (BAC) due to a misunderstanding with another member of the chamber, the leadership convened an extraordinary General Assembly, which will take place this week, on November 13. There are two main points on the agenda that need to be voted on by the General Assembly. In addition to the resignation of Tsekov, who since January of this year has been co-president of the BAC along with Iliya Prodanov (president of the NAZ) and Simeon Karakolev (president of the NOKA), the chamber members will also vote on changes to the BAC charter. The intention is for the BAC to be led by a single president again, as it was when it was established from April 2024 until January 2025.
