The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Vietnam is seeking solutions for the issue of missing documents for 36 containers of cashew nuts exported to Italy, worth 162 billion VND. These containers, which are en route to Italy and have already arrived at one port, are out of the exporters' control due to suspected fraud. The Ministry is working with the Vietnam Cashew Association, Law Office Davide Gallasso, and the Vietnam Trade Office in Italy to handle the case and retain ownership of the goods for Vietnamese businesses. The Ministry has proposed that the Government assign the Ministry of Transport and Communications to coordinate with shipping lines to keep the 36 containers and support the lawyers handling the case. Additionally, the State Bank of Vietnam is reviewing transaction processes with the buyer's bank to determine the case's origin.
