Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España presents the third estimate of the 2025 cereal harvest, which confirms an exceptional campaign in most of the country. With a total production of 26.64 million tons, the harvest ranks among the best of the last decades and represents an increase of 21.4% compared to 2024. This volume is the second highest in history, only behind the 2020 harvest, which reached 27.59 million tons. The average national yield stands at 4.64 t/ha, a +17.9% increase from 2024 and a +33% increase over the 2020-2024 average. This positive evolution consolidates the recovery of productive potential after several irregular years linked to adverse weather conditions. The third estimate confirms widespread increases in the main cereals: The increase in production is mainly explained by high productivity, especially in the north and much of the northern half of the peninsula.
