A connectivity meeting between Indian and Vietnamese businesses was held in Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Consul General of India and the Director of the Institute of Market Research - International Communication (IMRIC) of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The meeting aimed to explore trade opportunities and find partners for over 50 Vietnamese enterprises, primarily involved in agricultural products and consumer goods. The conference also highlighted the potential for investment in various sectors and the promotion of agricultural product consumption. Both countries are looking to increase their investment in each other's regions, with Vietnam focusing on projects in India worth over 6 million USD and expecting potential returns of over 28 million USD. The meeting was seen as a significant step towards enhancing connectivity and finding markets for Vietnam's durian, considered the 'king fruit.'
