According to Orelstat, the cost of a conditional (minimum) set of food products, which includes 33 food items, in the Oryol region in September amounted to 6,529 rubles, compared to 6,662 rubles the month before. In September, among the Central Federal District regions, the Oryol region ranked second in terms of the lowest cost of sour cream (342.72 rubles/kg), ahead of the Belgorod region (307.68 rubles/kg). The region also ranked second in terms of the price of potatoes (24.92 rubles/kg) – first in Bryansk (24.16 rubles/kg) – and mutton (excluding boneless meat) (752.16 rubles/kg), first in the Belgorod region (739.23 rubles/kg).
