It is increasing due to the rising cost of energy resources, individual feed components, and other factors. In October, the index of the operating cost of milk production (RMCI) was 105.3%. Compared to September 2025, the indicator increased by 5.3%, and compared to October 2024, it increased by 6.6%, reports Milknews citing preliminary data from the analytical center "Soyuzmoloko". The increase in production costs is explained by several reasons. Firstly, diesel fuel increased in price by 12.5% in October, and electricity for agricultural producers by 0.2%.
