This increase varies significantly across regions, with Chukotka and the Magadan region experiencing the highest costs at 15,243.4 rubles and 10,720 rubles respectively, while Mordovia and the Belgorod region have the lowest costs at 4,991.1 rubles and 5,052.7 rubles. In major cities, Moscow and St. Petersburg's costs stand at 7,336.3 rubles and 6,995.4 rubles. Furthermore, food prices in Russia have surged by 8.12% in March 2024 compared to the previous year, with an overall consumer price increase of 2.25% since the beginning of 2024.
