At the end of last week, logistical tension in Ukraine's grain market began to weaken, which had caused transportation costs to jump to record levels, reports "ProAgro Group." As Konstantin Khalakhandrik, co-founder of the brokerage company White Brokers, said, at the beginning of this week, logistics prices rose sharply, in some places up to 1,800–2,000 UAH per tonne. The highest rates were recorded in Kyiv region and part of Sumy region. However, there were not many real transactions at such prices. "This rush for logistics began to decline somewhat by the end of the week. Even some free wagons started to appear. This was a situational rush, where large volumes of shipment of old forwards, 'burning' contracts, and forwards extended for the third time overlapped with the difficult situation regarding traction force.
