An intellectual property court has recognized the "Cherkizovo" brand of Russia's largest meat holding as well-known in the country, despite the refusal of this by Rospatent. This decision is reported in a court document. In particular, such status has been assigned to products such as pork and pork semi-finished products, as well as ham and sausage products. According to the court's decision, the brand has been recognized as well-known since December 1, 2023. The document notes that the aforementioned types of production belong to goods of the 29th class of the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Registration of Trademarks. These are food products of both animal and plant origin that have undergone some processing, as well as ingredients that are part of products or used for preparing dishes.
