The Milk Producers Association has turned to the European Union to obtain assistance in overcoming the crisis in the industry.

The Milk Producers Association (MPA) initiated the issue of anti-crisis financial support for industrial dairy farms in Ukraine in 2026. This was reported by the MPA. Following the appeal by the MPA, the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine officially addressed the European Union to consider the possibility of financing a corresponding program. The reason for the initiative was the critical situation in the industry: purchasing prices for raw milk are rapidly decreasing and have fallen below the economically justified level, making production unprofitable.
