The role of a producer came to the Entrerriano Bruno Mascaretti almost by chance. It was his parents who, without any major pretensions, planted about 30 pecan trees in 2014, with the simple objective of decorating their property. Over the years and with an increasing production of pecans, the family concluded that there was a vein to be explored there. "Three years ago we decided to start with the first 10 hectares of pecan, in a more professionalized project, with management, staff, and all the know-how of what could happen to us in a production like this. Although we know it is a long-term endeavor, we like to enjoy this day by day," Bruno told Bichos de Campo, who is now part of groups of pecan producers from all over the country.
