From October 24 to October 26, 2025, the town of Elena will host the 12th edition of the Elena Mutton Festival - an event that has become a symbol of local tradition, taste, and hospitality. Over the course of three days, the Balkan town will gather thousands of visitors, attracted by the unique taste of the famous Elena mutton and the rich festival program. On stage will appear some of the most beloved performers - Gloria, Nikolay Slaveev, Petya Paneva, Poli Paskova, Volodya Stoyanov, Valya, Dj Svetlyo, the Slavyani Orchestra with Simone Markova, and the Etropole Wind Music, and the festival will be hosted by the charismatic Nencho Balabanov. Guests will be able to enjoy tastings, a farmers' market, bazaars, a funfair, a rich folklore program, and even a huge banitsa with mutton.
