Russia: The definition of surimi may be added to the EAEU regulations on the safety of fish products

Public discussion of the EAEU regulation “On the safety of fish and fishery products” will be submitted for public discussion at the end of 2023. In particular, several terms will be added to the text that will make the work of fish processors easier. The EAEU plans to submit for public discussion draft amendments to the regulation “On the safety of fish and fish products.” The explanatory note, which sfera.fm has reviewed, states that the text will clarify previously ambiguous wording and adjust the safety requirements that protect fish products from contamination by microbes and parasites.
