The Junta de Andalucía's agricultural delegate in Córdoba, Francisco Acosta, has announced significant aid for farmers and ranchers in Córdoba, in response to the impact of the Ukraine conflict and drought. The aid, totaling 12.8 million euros, will support the livestock and agricultural sectors, including incentives for pigs and other sectors affected by the conflict, and drought aid for cattle, sheep, and goats. Additionally, an aid package for livestock structures to combat drought will be available, with up to 20,000 euros per beneficiary. This announcement comes amidst challenges such as high costs in cattle feed and energy prices, climate change, and a persistent drought.
