On the other hand, the Czech Republic and Poland experience a decrease in yields, with the Czech Republic's yield being 13% lower than last year and Poland's 11% lower, both falling below the five-year average. The average potato yield in the EU stands at 35.1 tonnes per hectare, marking a 3% increase from the five-year average but a 1% decrease from the previous growing season.
