The European Parliament voted for a one-year postponement of the launch of the regulation EUDR — the European Union Regulation aimed at preventing the import of goods linked to deforestation and forest degradation. As Latifundist.com reports, the corresponding decision on December 18 was supported by 405 deputies, 242 voted against, and 8 abstained. "Yes, it is final. The European Parliament has approved the postponement for another year, and this is the decision we were waiting for. The next and final stage is the approval by the Council of Ministers of the EU and publication in the Official Journal of the EU," quotes the resource the founder and head of the company I.P. Cert Oksana Prosolenko. According to her, the implementation of the EUDR requirements for large operators has been postponed until December 30, 2026.
