The European Commission has approved a police veterinary quarry in Egypt to export horses to EU countries, following approval from the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in Egypt. The quarry, known for its technical capabilities and infrastructure, will ensure the highest international health standards are met. The approval was submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with the Embassy of Egypt in Brussels, and was published in the European Official Gazette on November 29, 2022, as Decision No. 2329 of 2022. The Minister of Agriculture expressed gratitude to the Ministry of the Interior for managing the quarry and acknowledged the contributions of the General Authority for Veterinary Services in developing and supporting the Egyptian horse industry.
