The European Parliament will vote in its plenary session at the end of November on a resolution to decide whether to ask the Court of Justice of the European Union to examine whether the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur, still in the process of ratification, is compatible with the treaties of the European Union. Up to 145 MEPs from 21 nationalities and five different political groups added their signatures this Friday so that the text, to which EFE has had access, can be voted on in the session between November 24 and 27, well above the minimum of 72 (one tenth of the total) required by the article of the internal rules on which they are based.
