Lately, all the numbers are in the green for the sunflower sector. After consolidating as the complex with the most growth in exports during 2025—with an interannual jump of almost 50%—, the latest sector report brings good news: the recent rains in the pampas region improve the crop projections, "historic yields" are expected, and, outside the country, the international market is all set for Argentine prominence. To some extent, sunflower is today the only one of the summer crops that, instead of cutting estimates, increases them. Contrary to the impact of water stress in several localities of the core area, particularly on soybeans and some maize, in this case the oilseed projects a great local campaign, and rubs its hands together at what is happening outside the country.
