The article highlights the characteristics of the Lutivka cherry variety, which is highly productive, capable of yielding up to 30 tonnes per hectare under the right conditions in the North and West of Ukraine. This self-pollinating variety is well-suited for mechanical harvesting, making it efficient and less reliant on manual labor, which is becoming a challenge in Poland and Ukraine. The article suggests a planting scheme of 4 meters by 1.25 meters to optimize harvesting efficiency, noting that this could potentially replace the work of 200 workers.
