The export duty on sunflower oil in November may amount to 7,623 rubles/ton—424 rubles less than in October, at the current dollar exchange rate of 81.9 rubles and an indicative price of $1,140, or 93,390 rubles/ton (according to the Moscow Commodity Exchange), analysts from the OleoScope agency predict. Within the dollar exchange rate range of 81 to 83 rubles, the duty may amount to 6,900–8,500 rubles/ton, where each ruble of currency rate increase or decrease corresponds to 798 rubles of duty. In October, the duty is 8,047 rubles/ton at an indicative price of $1,126/ton or 93,996 rubles/ton. The indicative price for sunflower meal for calculating the November export duty is $215.6, or 17,658 rubles/ton. Accordingly, the calculated export duty rate is 1,248 rubles/ton, which is 160 rubles less than in October.
