Spain: The export of cured ham grows 20% in volume from January to March

Exports of cured ham have grown by 20.22% in volume (13,711 tons) and 25.41% in value (up to 142 million euros) during the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same previous period. In addition, the average price of a kilo of ham has increased by 4.32 during this period in relation to 2022, standing at 10.36 euros, when it was 9.85 euros/kilo in that period, as detailed in a statement by the Spanish Serrano Ham Consortium.
