In the first quarter of 2023, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of dairy products, with the total export value of non-condensed milk and cream reaching $4.7 million, a 1.9 times increase from the previous period, according to the State Customs Service. The primary markets for these products were Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia, accounting for 91.3%, 4.1%, and 2.6% of the total exports, respectively. Additionally, the export of condensed milk and cream increased by 1.9 times to 6.8 thousand tons, generating 50% more revenue than the previous quarter, amounting to $17.7 million. The main importers of these dairy products were Poland, Israel, and Bangladesh, contributing 21.7%, 10.2%, and 9.1% to the total imports, respectively.
