According to him, several factors are simultaneously putting pressure on the market: the rising cost of logistics and fuel, as well as the temporary loss of some export destinations due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East. In particular, it has become significantly more difficult to form export batches — honey has to be collected from various regions, which increases costs. At the same time, the cost of delivering a container to Qatar has almost tripled — from $7–8 thousand to about $20 thousand, and the transportation time has increased from 45 to 90 days.
