The export duty on wheat from Russia will be 97.3 rubles per tonne starting from January 12, 2026, reports the Ministry of Agriculture. This is 10.8% less than the current rate of 109.1 rubles per tonne, which is in effect until January 11. Export duties on barley and corn will remain at zero, a level they have been at for a long time. The rates were calculated based on indicative prices: $228.4 per tonne for wheat ($227.9 for the previous period), $219.3 for barley ($219.2), and $200.9 for corn ($202). As explained by the Ministry of Agriculture, the rates announced on December 26 will be applied for only two days - from January 12 to January 13 inclusive, and those published on December 30 - from January 14 to January 20 inclusive.
