Vietnamese crabs and shellfish are well-received in the market due to their stable quality and suitability for the mid-to-high-end market. From January to September 2025, Vietnam's export value of crabs to China surged by 784%. Other seafood exports, including squid and octopus, also showed strong growth, reaching USD 758.7 million, a 15.5% increase compared to 2024. South Korea is the largest market, accounting for 38% of the total export value, followed by Japan, which accounts for 23%.
