The export value to the United States was $796 million, with a year-on-year increase of 5.4%, accounting for 17.2% of the total exports, with a single-month export value of $45.2 million in December, a year-on-year decrease of 16.4%. The export value to the European Union was $579.8 million, with a year-on-year increase of 19.9%, accounting for 12.6% of the total exports, with several major purchasing countries showing growth, including Germany (+25.1%), Belgium (+22.3%), the Netherlands (+8.2%), and the United Kingdom (+6.6%). The total export value to CPTPP member countries reached $1.25 billion, with a significant year-on-year increase of 28.8%, accounting for 27.3% of the total exports. The import demand from Japan, South Korea, and Australia remained stable. In 2025, the Southern White Shrimp continued to be the pillar of Vietnam's shrimp exports, with an export value of $2.98 billion, accounting for 64.6% of the total exports, with a year-on-year increase of 9.6%. The export value of black tiger shrimp was $452.9 million, accounting for 9.8%, with a slight year-on-year increase of 1.2%.
