(Milyang=Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Jong-ho = The city of Milyang, Gyeongnam, announced on the 31st that the "2025 Milyang Jujube & Ice Valley Apple Festival" will be held for two days starting from next month 8th at the SunShineMilyang Theme Park and Ice Valley Public Parking Lot.
The city is merging the previously separate "Milyang Jujube Festival" and "Milyang Ice Valley Apple Festival" into one new festival.
This festival was planned so that visitors can enjoy the region's representative specialty products, jujube and Ice Valley apples, in one place.
The festival's theme is "The sweetness of nature, a feast of jujubes and apples! A joyful autumn together!"
Various activities are planned, including experience events using jujubes and apples, sales of agricultural and forestry products, folk play and woodwork experiences, and celebratory performances.
The city expects that this festival will jointly enhance the brand value of Milyang jujubes and Ice Valley apples and significantly contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.
A city official urged, "We hope many citizens and tourists will join the sweet autumn feast created by Milyang's specialty jujubes and Ice Valley apples."
