The FEGA completes the payment of 19.2 million in aid for nuts due to drought.

The Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA) has published on its website the latest resolution on the granting of extraordinary aid to producers of nuts affected by drought, which has resulted in a total disbursement of 19.2 million euros for a total of 16,425 farmers. The resolution of FEGA—a paying agency dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food—grants aid to two farmholders for 10,000 euros, which were already included in another decision last November, but which were not paid because they were not up to date with their tax obligations and social security.
