The association 'Our Fruit Serbia', which represents raspberry producers and processors, is optimistic about a price increase in the new season despite a 42% decline in export earnings over the last two seasons. The price of frozen raspberries has already risen to $2.2 per kg, and farmers hope that the purchase price for fresh raspberries could reach 350 Serbian dinars ($3.2 per kg) before the season starts. However, the head of the Ukrainian industry association UPOA, Taras Bashtannik, is less optimistic due to overproduction and low prices in Ukraine.
