Athena Foods, a company under Minerva S.A., has shipped 4 tons of beef offal to Taiwan, marking the beginning of national product exports to this Asian market. The Taiwan government has approved the importation of 16 cuts of Paraguayan beef offal, including various membranes, tendons, tripe, and intestines. This expansion is set to strengthen the already existing friendly relations between Paraguay and Taiwan. Taiwan has emerged as a significant market for Paraguayan beef, ranking third in beef export volume as of December 2020, following the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
