Russian wheat exports have seen a 7% decrease from last year, with a total of 25 million tons of main types of grain shipped since the beginning of the season, including 21.8 million tons of wheat. Despite the decrease, October 2024 saw a 1% increase in grain shipments compared to the same month last year, with wheat shipments also increasing by 10.8%. However, analysts predict a further decrease in Russian wheat exports by the end of the 2024/2025 season due to worsening harvest prospects and export restrictions, with the lowest export figure since the 2021/2022 season expected.
