Labor shortage is a chronic problem for which, at this stage, there seems to be no long-term solution. One farm in Germany has found its formula for success. According to the assurances of some of its workers, they willingly and confidently return to the farm each year for seasonal work, reports the German agricultural website Agrarheute. 5.7 million Romanians work abroad. The main destinations are Italy, Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom. A significant number of them work seasonally in agriculture. Some of them always return to the same farm. It is located in Germany and is proof that respect and decent conditions can change things. Barbara and Josef Kemna's asparagus farm has earned a good reputation among Romanians.
