On Monday, December 29, 2025, the wheat market showed mixed dynamics. March quotations for soft winter wheat on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) fell to $188.49 per ton, March futures for hard winter wheat KCBT in Kansas City fell to $193.73 per ton, and March futures for hard spring wheat MGEX in Minneapolis remained unchanged at $212.83 per ton. March futures for SRW wheat in Chicago closed at $5.13, down 6 cents, May futures in Chicago closed at $5.24-3/4, down 6 cents. March futures for HRW wheat in Kansas City closed at $5.27-1/4, down 6 ¼ cents, May futures closed at $5.40-1/4, down 5 ¾ cents. March futures for spring wheat MGEX in Minneapolis closed at $5.79-1/4, unchanged, May futures for spring wheat MGEX closed at $5.90-3/4, up ¼ cent. Abundant global grain reserves are intensifying bearish sentiments. Argentine farmers are completing the harvest of a record wheat crop.
