On Friday, December 19, 2025, wheat futures closed with mixed rates. March quotations for soft red winter wheat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CBOT) rose to $187.30 per ton, while March futures for hard red winter wheat on the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) in Kansas City decreased to $189.32 per ton, and March futures for hard red spring wheat on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) in Minneapolis rose to $212.38 per ton. March futures for soft red winter wheat in Chicago closed at $5.09-3/4, up 2 cents, while May futures in Chicago closed at $5.20-1/2, up 1 ¾ cents. March futures for hard red winter wheat in Kansas City closed at $5.15-1/4, down 1 ¾ cents, while May futures closed at $5.27-3/4, down 1 ½ cents.
