With an average yield of 8 tons per hectare, 1.4 thousand tons of production were obtained. According to Rosstat, in 2025, 1.38 thousand tons of flax fiber were harvested in the Yaroslavl region, which is 58.9% more than in the previous year (0.87 thousand tons). Flax-dolgunets is a traditional crop for the region, and its production is handled by four farms. Over the 2023–2025 years, flax fiber production increased by 68.8%. By the volume of this product output, the region ranked third in the Central Federal District and sixth in the Russian Federation. The highest amount of flax fiber in the country was obtained in the farms of the Smolensk region—7.16 thousand tons. In second place is Udmurtia with 5.27 thousand tons, and the third place is occupied by the Tver region with 2.73 thousand tons. Together, they closed 51.7% of the total Russian production volume.
