The growth in milk production in Bashkiria turned out to be minimal in the PFA.

In Bashkiria, agricultural organizations produced 633.8 thousand tons of milk in 2025. The figure increased by 1.7% compared to 2024, when 623 thousand tons of milk were produced, according to Rosstat data reviewed by RBC Ufa. In the Volga Federal District, agricultural enterprises produced 7.3 million tons of milk over the year. The figure increased by 6.3% over the year. Milk production in the Volga Federal District increased in 13 out of 14 regions of the district. In the Orenburg region, the figure decreased by 1.7%. The minimum growth was recorded in Bashkiria (+1.7%), Perm Krai (+1.9%), and Kirov region (+3.4%). The maximum growth rates were registered in Penza region (+19.4%), Chuvashia (+12.2%), and Saratov region (+10.9%). Tatarstan (1.7 million tons), Udmurtia (1 million), and Kirov region (851.5 thousand tons) lead in milk production in the district. Bashkiria is in fourth place. The least milk was produced in Ulyanovsk (105.1 thousand tons), Orenburg (161.4 thousand), and Saratov (168.1 thousand) regions.
