The head of Kamchatka called on not to purchase imported fish for public sector institutions in Russia

Solodov, the head of the Kamchatka region, believes that Russian fish like pollock and pink salmon are healthier than imported seafood like pangasius or tilapia. He emphasized the need to boost fish consumption in Russia but also mentioned the importance of considering pricing policy risks. These discussions took place at the VIII Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok from September 10 to 13, 2023.
