The Kursk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Grain Quality Assessment Center” is conducting tests on the new wheat crop in the region as part of state grain monitoring. The harvest so far has yielded 2 million tons, of which 1.5 million tons have been tested, revealing that 27% is classified as the highest quality wheat (3rd class) and 55% is classified as high-quality grain (4th class). Only 17% is classified as lower quality (5th class). The new harvest has higher quality indicators compared to the last harvest and the wheat is in both domestic and international demand.
