The Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) has updated the regulations for the Sanitary Registry of Livestock Farms to simplify the process and reduce risks to health and safety in primary production. The new resolution, 90464 of 2021, mandates any individual or legal entity involved in livestock production to register. The requirements vary for different species and include vaccination reports, brand or standard of animals, and exact location of the property. Existing registrations will remain valid. The responsible person can authorize third parties to request Internal Mobilization Sanitary Guides and the information recorded in the registry must be updated when there's a change in the person or farm responsible or the livestock activity.
