The total volume of imports was 1,236,000 tons, representing a 26% decrease compared to the same period of the previous season, according to data from the European Commission. Sunflower oil imports by October 14 fell to 426.2 thousand tons (a ¼ decrease compared to last season), while palm oil imports plummeted to 725.5 thousand tons (25% decrease).
