Australia's Trade Minister, Don Farrell, has announced the resumption of lobster exports to China, marking the end of all trade barriers between the two countries since the COVID-19 pandemic. This development is anticipated to significantly boost the Australian lobster industry, which exported 5,500 tons of live lobsters to China in 2019, valued at A$450 million. The move is expected to bring substantial economic benefits and provide job security for regional fishing communities.
