Recent searches on Google revealed concerns about the high alleged price of imported Brazilian chicken, with claims putting it at 26 thousand pounds per ton. However, a thorough check revealed that the prices in the local market range from 65 to 96 pounds per ton, depending on the weight. This pricing is also consistent across Ahlan Ramadan outlets, exhibitions, and stands throughout the country. Sayed Al-Nawawi, a representative from the Importers Division of the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo, clarified that the social media reports about the exorbitant price of Brazilian chicken were inaccurate and emphasized that the government is offering the chicken at lower prices to citizens.
